how do you fit it on plasterboard wall
It is possible to install the wallbed onto plasterboard wall, if fixing the mechanism to the floor is not an option. In this case the bed has to be fixed to the studwork, the plasterboard itself is not strong enough to support the wallbed. If the wallbed brackets are not located where the studs are, you can first attach a panel or board to the studs and then attach the wallbed to this. For example a 25mm thick plywood board can be attached to the studwork first, then you can install the wallbed onto this board.
Nice bed frame but pretty useless as a Murphy bed if you have a normal wall. Disappointing
Hi, our wallbeds can be fixed to the wall or to the floor. It is also posible to attach the wallbed to the studs, if you have a drywall.

How do you fix it to the floor?
Hi, there are 6 fixing brackets on the subframe for attaching the wallbed to a concrete or wooden floor.

I had mine delivered last week. Installed it and it is best buy. give so much space in the room. highly recommended for houses with same rooms and not enough space.

I just brought mine and put it together, all goes well but What can I do when the lift support is not working. If I screw it in the bed will not go down. It apo heavy for me to put up and down.
Hi, if you have a lighter weight mattress you won‘t need to use all the gas pistons. You can uninstall one or two of these depending on the weight of the mattress.

Hi, this is very unusual, however if the wallbed starts squeaking, the noise can be eliminated by applying WD-40 to the area where the metal parts are rubbing on each other.

Hi, you can either remove the skirting board from behind the wallbed subframe and install it against the wall, or you can leave the skirting board on the wall and use spacers (or wooden battens) behind the wallbed subframe.

I'm planning to buy and convert an enclosed cargo trailer into a "camper." The Murphy bed concept came to mind. This is an affordable option, but it appears that it only works from one height, unless the folding legs are somehow extended. This bed is built for being low to the ground from what it seems, but most things can be modified somehow. I'm definitely keeping this in mind. And for my last comment, OH DEAR GOD the telephone on hold/elevator repetitive music that accompanies this video was causing me to become so frickin grouchy!!!! I had to mute the video and open another youtube window in the background playing some REAL music!!! Arrrgggh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, there is no strict rule if the wallbed should be built and installed first then the cabinet or the other way around, but it's easier if you start with the wallbed and then install the cabinet around it.
